Unfourtunately, riders are unable to delete their own account in the rider app.

If a rider would like their account to be deleted, they will need to:

  • Call or email their respective transit agencies customer service team and have a representative there delete their account.
  • Send a note to the Spare team via email at [email protected].

If you are a customer service representative and you would like to delete a rider account through the Spare Platform, please follow these steps:

First, log into the Spare Platform at platform.sparelabs.com. Navigate to "Riders", located under the "Users" tab on the left hand side of the screen. Then, select the rider account you would like to delete. You can also search for a rider in the Search Bar at the top of the screen.

After selecting the rider, you will be taken to the "Rider Details" page. From there, select the "Delete Rider" button in the top right corner of the screen.

After selecting "Delete Rider" a pop-up will appear to ensure you want to proceed.
