Sometimes things change. A rider needs a new pickup time, the wrong service was selected, or maybe plans changed and a different rider is taking the trip! With trip request editing, you can now modify any part of the original request that was booked, without the need to cancel it.

What part of the request can be edited?

  • Rider

  • Service

  • Number of riders

  • 'Leave at' time

  • 'Arrive by' time

  • Accessibility features

  • Custom Fields

How to edit a trip request:

Any trip in the 'accepted' state can be edited.

Search for the trip request and click to view. Once on the request page, navigate to the 'Actions' drop-down located at the top right-hand corner and select 'Edit Request & Rematch'

The request booking page will open and edits can be made.

If the updated request can be accommodated, trip details will be returned. In the example below, an additional 3 riders were added to the request.

The original request can be viewed at any time by selecting 'View Previous Request Details', this will open up a separate window.

To move forward with the adjusted trip request, 'Save Request & Rematch' needs to be selected. This can be found at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

Once saved, the original request will no longer exist.

Useful things to know:

  • Edits can only happen for requests that are in the 'accepted' state

  • Requests that have been dispatched to an external fleet cannot be edited

  • Editing and rematching does not provide any guarantee. Although an estimate is returned, we do not guarantee the estimate will be what is matched (this is identical to the current Book Request flow)

  • It is not possible to track who edited a trip request
