What changes are included in this release?
1. New feature: See favorite locations pinned on the map
In the 4.0 release of the Rider App in Summer 2025, we enabled agencies to set specific stops to appear on the home screen for riders. You can read more about that release here. Now, riders can see their own favorite locations also pinned on the map.

Click here to see how this new feature works
Tap anywhere on the map to set a pin and then tap "Add to favorites"
This location will now be added to the user's favorites list
And can now be seen from the home screen at all times
Users can also add favorite locations through the account menu as before
And these will display on the map just the same
And can be set as dropoff or pickup just the same as any other pinned location
2. Bug fix: Don't pre-fill current location when scheduling trips
In a previous release, we allowed agencies to choose what the home screen experience was for riders dependent on if the agency offers mostly scheduled trips, leave now trips, or both. This release includes a bug fix to ensure current location isn't pre-filled when riders are scheduling trips. You can learn more about this feature here.
3. Bug fix: Trips booked from favorite locations or current location not showing address
Some trips booked to or from a favorite location or the rider's current location were only showing these names to drivers and dispatchers, not the full address. This is addressed in this release.
