Written by Nick Milum
Updated today

If you need to adjust the passenger count because your drivers were unable to do so during the service, you can do this from the Live Map. Here's how:

1. Click into the block that you want to adjust counts for

Spare Fixed Route Live Map showing active route blocks with vehicles on the map, where the admin clicks into a block to view stop-level passenger count details

2. Then click on the stop that you want to edit the count for

Spare Fixed Route block detail panel showing the list of stops with their recorded passenger boardings and alightings, where the admin clicks on a specific stop to open its passenger count editor

3. Edit the counts and save

Spare Fixed Route stop passenger count editor showing numeric fields for boarding and alighting counts at the selected stop, which the admin updates and saves to correct the passenger count record

4. If you need to edit the counts for a past day, you can navigate to the Live Schedule, then find the day you need, and then click onto one of the trips that you want to edit

Spare Fixed Route Live Schedule view with a past date selected, showing the list of trips for that day where the admin clicks on a trip to access the stop-level passenger count editor for historical adjustments

Notes

  • These updated counts will appear in your reporting in Spare Analytics

  • You can adjust the count for a stop in the future for a driver
