Overview

Analytics 2.0 provides powerful tools to visualize and analyze your data through three main components: Dashboards, Reports, and the Report Builder. This comprehensive system allows you to monitor key metrics, create detailed visualizations, and build custom reports tailored to your organization's needs.

Dashboards

Dashboards display reports and metrics as visual tiles, providing quick "at a glance" status updates and data visualization. They serve as your primary interface for monitoring multiple metrics simultaneously.

Reports Page

The Reports page allows users to view individual reports in detail, complete with visualizations (such as bar charts) and comprehensive data breakdowns below each chart.

Report Builder

The Report Builder is a powerful tool that enables users to modify existing reports and generate entirely new reports according to their specific requirements.

How to Access Analytics 2.0

Your Home dashboard serves as the main landing page for your organization's analytics. You can customize which dashboard appears as your home page, making it easy to access your most important metrics immediately upon login.

Setting Your Favorite Dashboard

To pin a dashboard as your favorite:

  1. Go to "Home" in the sidebar

  2. Click "Edit Pinned Dashboard"

  3. Select your preferred dashboard - this will become your landing page when navigating to Analytics

Dashboards

Navigate to "Dashboards" in the sidebar to view all dashboards you have access to. Click on any dashboard to open and explore its contents.

Filtering Dashboard Data

Use the dropdown menus to filter your dashboard by:

  • Date range

  • Service

  • Fleet

Building and Customizing Dashboards

To create or modify a dashboard:

  1. Click "Edit Dashboard" to enter edit mode

  2. Edit Details: Click "Edit Details" to change the dashboard name and description

  3. Rearrange Reports: Click and drag reports to reposition them on the dashboard

  4. Re-size Reports: Click the bottom right corner of any report tile and drag to resize

  5. Set Default Filters: Click the "+ Add filter" button to configure which filters are available on your dashboard and their default settings. For example, you can add a service filter and select which services should be filtered by default. Users can still modify these filters when viewing dashboards, but the dashboard will reset to defaults when they navigate away.

  6. Add Reports: Click the "+ Add Reports" button to search and add existing reports to your dashboard
