Getting Started with New Analytics

Everything you need to get started with the new analytics experience. If you're familiar with Analyze (Analytics V1), this guide will help you find your way around and discover what's new.

1. Find Your Fleets & Services Dashboards

Your familiar Fleets and Services dashboards have been rebuilt in the new analytics experience. Here's how to find them.

Navigate to the Dashboard List

From the Analytics home screen, open the Dashboard List in the left navigation. Your Fleets and Services dashboards will appear here alongside any other dashboards that have been set up for your organization.

✨ New in V2: Customizable Dashboards

Dashboards are now fully customizable! You can:

  • Add and remove metrics to focus on what matters to your team

  • Change visualizations (tables, charts, graphs) to match how you prefer to review data

  • Apply filters and save as a default view

  • Create custom calculations (sum, average, add, subtract, multiply, divide)

Pin a Dashboard as Your Home Screen

Want quick access to the data you check most often? You can pin any dashboard to your organization’s home screen so it's the first thing people see when they open Analytics. Most teams pin an executive summary or their primary service dashboard for at-a-glance performance monitoring.

Explore New Dashboards

Beyond your existing Fleets and Services views, the new analytics experience comes with a library of ready-to-use dashboards built around common transit use cases.

Open the Template Library to browse and import dashboards for:

Ridership Trends

Operational Costs

On-Time Performance

Driver Performance

NTD Compliance

Service Comparisons

With 60+ templates available, you can import what you need and customize it for your agency—no need to start from scratch.

2. How to Export Reports

Exporting data works a bit differently in the new experience. Here's what you need to know.

Find Your Custom Reports

The custom reports you previously created will appear in the Report List. Navigate to the Reports section in the left navigation to see all available reports for your organization.

From any report, you can filter the data to your desired date range, services, fleets, or day of the week.

Once your preferred filters have been applied, you can easily download the report in CSV, Excel, or PDF format.

You can also apply more advanced filtering, including removing or adding columns for hundreds of new data points, by selecting “edit” on the report.

💡 Tip: Standard Exports Are in the Template Library

Looking for your standard Operations, Eligibility, or Resolve exports? These have been rebuilt as report templates. Head to the Template Library to import them into your report list. Once imported, you can customize columns and save your preferred configuration for repeat use.
