Offering Only Scheduled Trips to Riders

Does your agency only offer scheduled trips to riders? This feature subtly adjusts the language used in your white-labeled Rider App, and makes it clearer to riders who are scheduling trips for the future.

What has changed?

  • Instead of “Where to” on the home page, the search box says “Schedule a trip”

  • In the standard booking flow, the pickup location defaults to your current location. With this feature, it's empty and the rider is prompted to fill this in first.

  • The rider is also prompted with the page to select time and date prior to receiving trip options.

How do you turn on this feature?

  • Speak to your Spare Representative to ensure that this will work for your organizations needs

  • All services that are available to the Rider App or Rider web must have some sort of booking cutoff. This can be a cutoff based on number of hours before the trip, or a cutoff time the day before.
